Hello again!
Sorry I haven’t been typing on the computer on my blog for so long – I’ve been banned from the computer for a week and a bit from being naughty. But now, yippeee, I can find the delights of the computer again! 🙂 🙂 🙂
A week ago, I had a sleepover with my best ever friend Caitlin at her house. I shall introduce you to the family:
Caitlin: age almost nine, nice little girl, pretty too.
Eden: Caitlin’s little sister, age six, both cute and nice little girl, pretty too.
Scarlett: Caitlin’s other little sister, age six, both cute, nice little girl, pretty too.
Tina: Caitlin’s mum, age I have no idea, both pretty and nice lady.
Chris: Caitlin’s dad, age I have no idea, both pretty (oops, not pretty) nice man who likes DIY and sheds ( a lot).
Well, I went to Caitlin’s house. She has two rabbits, a dog and three cats. They are very cute. We disappeared off to Caitlin’s bedroom. Scarlett’s and Eden’s bedroom is MASSIVE. Caitlin’s is rather big. She has a lot of toys, games, cuddley dolls and bears and animals. Scarlett is more grown-up and wouldn’t touch a doll hardly. Eden is more like a cute six-year-old. 🙂 🙂 🙂 The food was extremely yummy, and Ezmay the cat always hid under the table and was quite surprised for all the bread titbits and milk spillages, especially for bit of dumpling crumb or herb mash sploshes. We watched fun films and videos on Caitlin’s Ipad Mini. It was fun. I made this story called ‘The Island of Opal City’ on an app called ‘Book Creator’ on her ipad.
Then Caitlin came here for a sleepover. We stayed up till half-past eleven at night while Caitlin watched Greace and I made her a loom band bracelet (because I don’t really like watching films about boyfriend and girlfriend films and things…like that…). Dinner was really nice – it was a big BBQ. Then me and Caitlin went up to my bedroom (which is fairly big) and played this Top Trump thing that Caitlin brought with her. Then Mummy turned the lights off and we went to sleep. 🙂
Yesterday morning, Caitlin woke me up at the crack of dawn and we both went downstairs together. We watched a bit of telly and then switched it off. Then Caitlin did a picture of a river and I did one of an spring scene, some lovely, truely LOVELY trees with leaves of turquiose and branches of hazel-brown. The lovely bridge in the middle had red and white roses dangling on the side, and the little thing itself was true silver…but then unfortunately it got crea…I can’t say the word…three, two, one…creased’n’ripped…AAAHH! I just said it! Cock-a-doodle-oo! I’ve turned into a hen! Cock cooork, cock coork…
Then we did a lovely story (well, we’re still working on it) and I was the author and Caitlin the illustrator. Caitlin is always practicing her illustrating and I’ve already done two pages of the book! It’s called Journey to a Different Dimension, about two girls called Becky and Louisa (Becky is Caitlin and Louisa is me) who have a sleepover together. In the night they hear a distance howling, a strange, horrifying sound. They go downstairs, and find the window had turned into a passage way. They walked through it and found themselves in the 1950s…
In the morning when Mummy came downstairs we decided to have some breakfast. Caitlin doesn’t like disgusting, mushy ceriel (like me) and wanted to have croissants with chocolate inside (exactly like me). So we scooted up to the shop in our onesies. We got the croissants and ate them hungrily in the park.
Then we went home, played, went to Wrest Park with Nanny and had a picnic there. But of course we had to take our story so we could work on it some more 🙂
Then we came home, played, went in the paddling pool and then Caitlin’s family came. We all went in the paddling pool again in our pants, but Eden, me, Scarlett and Caitlin all felt freezing so we came out.
We had loads of fun. We didn’t want to go home at all. We wanted to go on another sleepover. “Mummy,” I say, “can we go on another sleepover?”
