Yesterday me, Mummy and Tilly went to a Knit and Knatter club in the library with some nice ladies. There was Maxine, Pauline and Iris…I can’t remember the other names…
I’ve never been to this club before – well, it was only us and the nice ladies, so not particularly a ‘club’ – but anyway it was very welcoming for our first time, and we had busicuits and juice, but mainly, you should read the title, knitting. As you know I’m good and I like knitting, so it was the perfect thing for us. The ladies knew each other well, but they still included us and helped Mummy for tips so she could teach us them. In the middle and the end we had at least one fudgy chocolatey biscuit and a drink in the middle, and then the ladies went and we followed them out, got some library books and went home.
One nice lady gave us three lovely croachet flowers that we could sew on to some of our hairbands or something. She was a very nice lady and really didn’t mind that her flowers were gone and she seemed to feel more happy when we had them, for she did a very nice and kind deed.
Lady who gave us the flowers: I’m not sure if my mum gave you my website address, but if you’re looking on here than please read this note: I appreciate your behaviour today and I really do think you are a nice lady – but amongst the others too! It’s not just you, your friends were a VERY good pick, and I’m telling you now, my lady. I don’t know your name, but mine is Lavinia. La-vin-i-a.
Yours faithfully,
Lavinia xxx
