A Halloween and Safari Stu Day!

****  ASTRIXES – IF YOU LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE, YOU’LL SEE WHAT I WANNA SAY!

We went to that club again, and firstly we played a bit. Then Mummy did my face-paint (she’d just done Tilly’s, which was a Lichenstein picture) where she made it a Sugar Skull. Do you know what Sugar Skulls are? Well, in Mexico, they draw skulls and decorate them to celebrate the ‘Day of the Dead’, which in my opinion is weird, but also if your mum and dad die or something which would be upsetting…

But then, we did see Safari Stu. He had a lot of animals – we couldn’t hold the skunk, but others we could.

  • STICK INSECT – Yep, these were crawly. Katie came too, and she didn’t hold the stick insects. They had like little grippy thorns in their feet that didn’t hurt, and the little non-hurting thorns would stick into your skin like mad. It was weird. I really didn’t like it.

  • COCKROACH – And we held these little fellas. The first was either just not moving a muscle or it was dead. Stu had to come over and take the dead-like one away and got me a new one.

  • HUGE PYTHON – There was also this HUGE python that was there. He tried to crawl up my face once! And that’s ‘tried’, thank you very much. Also, that snake ate a RAT (according to my sister and Katie’s point of view).

  • SMALL PYTHON – There was a little python, which was less heavy and much more tiny than the big one. This one was just normal weight.

  • TWO CORN SNAKES – There were also corn snakes. They weren’t even as heavy as the little python.
  • TARANTULA (called Twiggy) – We also held a tarantula. Katie wouldn’t, though, she said the way they walked creeped her out. But I did, and little Twiggy wasn”t spiky and boney, he (she) was nice and soft. If you ever hold a tarantula, don’t squeal and scream, calm down and you’ll actually feel what it’s like and then you won’t need to not have a nice day by holding a tarantula.

  • BEARDED DRAGON (called Betty) – The bearded dragon (little fella) was spiky on her sides, and had little bobbly kind of bobbles on her tummy. She was weird, but still cool.

  • CHAMELEON – The chameleon was good, but unfortunately he/she didn’t change their colour to peach for our skin, and if it had gone on Tilly’s face paint it’d have to change whitey with red spots. It would be weird if that happened, but on my face it would be weirder – it would be black, white, pink, swurly and weird. But – PLEASE may I use the word ‘unfortunately’ again? I just like typing so much! – unfortunately she just stayed multi-coloured, and even then her eyes were some kind of multi-like colour.

  • SKUNK – We weren’t allowed to hold the skunk, as I’ve already said, but we stroked her and she was SOO soft and cute – she looked like a badger!

They were all very cool and soft-like.

Then we had a Halloween Party, with cool music like Walk Like an Egyptian by The Essential Bangles, Monster Mash by I Don’t Know Who, Scooby-Doo Where Are You? By I Don’t Know Who.

We went to the park and played with the toddlers, like Jaime and Isla, then we had some Red Velvet Cake. It was N-I-C-E, NICE. Unfortunately it was not allowed for vegetarians, so a lady or two wasn’t allowed it. They should’ve used beetroot, the mighty fellas!

**** You know with the ‘wanna’ and ‘fella’ kind of words? Well, I’m feeling in that *kinda* way today…sorry if you can’t understand me, *buster*.
