Yesterday, Tilly, Mummy and I went to one of our clubs and made some delicious sushi. We got the seaweed, spread some sticky sushi rice on it, put on our filling (cucumber, carrots, crab sticks, avocado, etc.), rolled it up and Carly sliced it into pieces. We had some wasabi sauce and some soy sauce and ate it all up. Plus we had some delicious birthday cake – well, I had a slice of plain and a slice of chocolate…it was tasty, and the lady said it was okay to have both…
Some people gobbled it up, some wouldn’t touch it, some ate it and found out it was delicious and some were too scared to make it in the first place. I was one of the ones who gobbled it up, and liked it so much I had two goes making it!
Tilly ate it too, and the same with our friend. One girl was scared of what it’d taste like, but when she finally tried it, she decided she REALLY liked it!
Whenever you make sushi, always eat it. I promise you that it’s tasty-toos. Actually, I might not promise, as you have different tastebuds from me. But in our club, most of us liked it, so you probably will too! This is the sushi we had last time we were in London:
In between making the sushi, I read some more stories to the little ones and they really liked it. Now they’re expecting me to read them stories every time I come!
