Christmas Party Week

Christmas Party Number 1

The first Christmas party we went to had a bucking reindeer. You have to sit on the large plastic reindeer’s back and hold onto a tiny handle while the man in charge of it fiddles with some levers. The levers make the reindeer move, depending if you want it to go fast or slow. It spins and turns and jerks and bucks and is really fun – though be careful, if you do go on it, it’s faster than it might look!

It had rows of tables with crafts and things on them, like decorating-cakes sort of crafts, designing-a-bauble sort of crafts, etc. My best friend Caitlin was there, so we played with her while we did the activities as well as with Tilly and Katie, who fortunately happened to also be there. We had to try to write down the correct name for a fluffy white bear, too (I wrote Snowy, but really, for some reason, it was Charlie), and you also had to guess how many sweets were in a box and that sort of thing.

The people at the party had made a delicious selection of lunch for us. There were wraps, slices of juicy cucumber, carrots and pepper, scrumptious chicken – it was all very tasty, but once I had started eating, I felt a little ill (I had been before, it wasn’t the food) and not very hungry, so I went and played somewhere else. It was funny when an adorable little two-year-old boy came over and tried to steal my food, splattering it with his baby food 😀

Christmas Party Number 2

The second Christmas party was at our usual club. I think it was just slightly better than the first one. I saw my best friend Niamh, my other best friend Liv-Astrid (pronounced Liv-Ustri) that I haven’t seen in so long, and lots of other fun people including my other best friend Grace. I got some birthday presents too, since it was my birthday recently – thank you, those who gave me presents! I got a loom band set from Liv-Astrid which is really cool, and now when she comes round we can play it. Niamh’s mum crocheted me a really nice pastel pink and green and brown handbag, and Niamh made me a lovely purse to go inside. The handbag fits me perfectly and the purse is really pretty.

There was a huge bouncy-castle too, which was really fun to boing on. Grace and I kept trying to jump and see over the top and look at the gratings and, though we didn’t get there, maybe even the floor! It was really fun, so thank you for the person who organised it 😉
