After swimming, Grace came back to our house for a sleepover! It was so fun, and I hope Grace liked it too! We snuggled up in bed to watch a film called The Spy Next Door – it’s probably my favourite! It stars Jackie Chan, which means you’re thinking,
Aagh! Too scary!
No, Hermione Granger, it’s not scary! That’s just what Grace thought, and now it’s her favourite film too! There are no special effects in any of Jackie’s stunts apart from when Laura flies into the air. It’s so great, you have to watch it!

In the morning, we woke up and watched Just add Magic for at least an hour 🙂 it’s really good. Then we had croissants and chocolate spread, which was delicious! We wrote tons of letters to the fairies, and then went to Grace’s for lunch and tea. We went on the trampoline for ages (oh, now I want to go on it again!) and then we made an oxygen atom out of poms poms and sewing equipments. It was fun fun fun!! First we learnt about all the elements and atoms and things. Then we made our own larger version of an atom, for it would be pretty hard to get it the right size and shape, being so tiny. We now know all about electrons, neutrons and protons. The neutrons and protons connect together to make a ball shape in the middle of the atom, and then the electrons whizz round it so fast that you can’t see it – well, you couldn’t see it anyway, as not even the best microscope can see it!
Then Grace’s sisters Eve and Annie came home from school. It was very fun when they were there. First we went (again!) back onto the trampoline, where we played The Demon. That was really fun! The Demon was the person who was blindfolded in the middle of the trampoline. They had to say five of their favourite things, like their favourite animals (let’s say..tiger and polar bear, black bear and Arctic grizzly bear, and Arctic fox) or something. Then each person that wasn’t The Demon would choose which one they wanted to be. The Demon would then choose two of the five favourites that she would catch blindfolded. On the count of three, she would bounce and crawl around on the trampoline, trying to catch anyone in her reach. Say she said she would chase the Arctic foz and the black bear, she would try to find them and get them. She has two goes. If she caught the Arctic fox or black bear, she got one point and tried to catch the other. If she didn’t, she lost a point – zero to minus one – and would try to get at least one. That was very fun!
Then we went in and played the real Cluedo, which was very lively. I went on a team with cute little cuddly Annie, Eve, being an expert Cluedo player, went by herself, Grace, also an expert, went on her own team too, and Tilly paired up with Emily, Annie’s friend. Annie and I were Prof. Plum – and I couldn’t believe it when it was us doing the murder!
Then Grace’s mum cooked us a marvellous dinner of pasta and cheesey sauce, sweetcorn and broccoli. It was delicious! We then had a tasty MiniMilk (ice cream) and made a trailer on the ipad. It was very fun. I directed it and filmed it. I was sad when I had to go home 😉
