It started off just being a normal sleepover at my Auntie Beci’s. We met first in IKEA, where we had lunch. My cousin Sebastian (though we call him Sebby) was there with us – he’s super, super cute! I had fish-fingers and chips and that cranberry or loganberry sauce they have, which is really scrumptious with chips! Then I went round with Sebby into all the children’s cupboards and tiny rooms with all the holograms dancing round on the floor. Then he would say, “Where’s other cousin?” It was adorable, because he always says ‘cousin’ instead of ‘Lavinia’ or ‘Matilda’! Then I would tell him, “She’s on camp, remember?” and he would say, “Yes, she at campshite!” and it would be so funny! I taught him the letter ‘M’, ‘m’, and ‘u’!
At IKEA, Nanny invited me to come round for a night at hers! I was very excited. I moved straight on from the bus for hours to Nanny’s house, and then we went shopping in Bedford, which was really fun! We bought chewing gum (a rare treat!) some knickers (not sure why that was important) and were going to get me an adult dressing gown, but they only had Medium, Large, and Extra Large! Nanny says she will buy me a Small when they’re out (thank you, Nanny)! I tried on the Medium and looked in the mirror, and I was a gigantic ball of blue fluff with a head stuck on top!
The sleepovers were really fun. At Beci’s, I had to fold over my duvet and lean on it as a mattress, and then I had my cosy, fluffy blanket as a normal duvet! At Nanny’s, however, I had a double bed. I slept with my teddy Kendall Bear, and in the morning and evening I read my book until 20:30. It was fantastic! Thank you, Beci and Nanny!
