We had a little art thing run by Carla Sonheim, called ‘Kids’ Art Week’. Every day, you do another masterpiece of art, but we’ve only done one so far, so I’ll tell you all about that!
We drew dogs in the Picasso style, where you started doing one eye in the left, one at the bottom right, and then a snout at the top right and the nostrils three corners away, and so on. When you have all those main features done, you can join it all together and you have a Picasso dog. Remember the tail and tongue, though!
So we drew all the features and joined it all together, and then we decided to use colouring pens instead of paints, and coloured it all in. I named mine ‘Molasses the Magnificent…Toffee’ and Tilly did not have a name on hers, neither did Mummy’s, but Andy made his say ‘Oh my dog!’. Can you spot whose is whose? I’ll tell you a clue between Mummy’s and Tilly’s – Tilly’s is very bright. Mummy’s looks a bit like a sea monster (which is awesome, I want mine to look like a sea monster)!
