10-16 July
This week was the week that we were on holiday with Andy in Devon. Click on THIS LINK to view my post on it.
On Saturday, I went to my Chatterbooks club at the library. We decorated cupcakes (and, of course, I ate mine) and then were given a book to read as a keeper. It’s called ‘All The Things That Could Go Wrong‘, and it’s about a boy called Alex with major OCD who gets continously bullied by someone at school called Dan and Dan’s gang. It’s very modern and not really my thing, but it’s an okay change from what I would usually read. It’s by Stewart Foster, who also wrote bestselling ‘Bubble Boy‘. They want my and the other Chatterbooks-y-people’s feedback on whether they should publish the book or not, since he only just wrote it.
On Sunday, Mummy and Tilly had a Mummy-and-Tilly-shopping-day, so William and I stayed behind at home with Andy.
We played a few games of Boggle, I did all my work and also watched a film called Elf. It was really funny! We’ve watched it plenty of times before but only on Christmas; I was torn between watching Elf, a comedy and Christmas film, and A Far Off Place, which has a lot more blood and guts and is entirely different from Elf, but I stuck with the latter.
