Hello! My name is Lavinia, and I am seven years old. I live with my Mummy, my step daddy Andy, and my sister Matilda. My step brother William comes every other week, our house, his mum’s house, our house and so on. I live in England. I love animals, Tilly isn’t interested. I wake up thinking about what story I can write, Tilly thinks about reading. I like playing with my friends and family.
The best thing that I am best at is writing. I love writing on the computer, paper, and I love doing spelling tests. I am the punctuation police, Andy says. I am always correcting everyone’s mistakes: ‘s, “s, ,s, .s, and many other things. I am correcting authors and famous people – even them! Mummy thinks that I should be the grammar police in real life! But I think that writing is important, and everyone should be made to write properly!
I read a lot. My favourite authors are J.K. Rowling, Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton, Lauren Child, Jill Murphy, Sara Pennypacker, Ruth Symes, Holly Webb, C. S. Lewis and so many others! There is so many books to read and I can’t wait to read them all!
When I am older, I want to be a singer or a chef, or perhaps an author. I might be a zookeeper or someone who works to stop people from doing horrible things to poor animals – especially dolphins and tigers! I want to have two children. I think if one is a boy I’ll call it Esteban (from The Mysterious Cities of Gold), if both are boys I’ll call them Esteban and Max, if one is a girl it’ll be Clara and Esteban, if tw girls it’ll be Sheeta (from a film called Laputa: Castle in the Sky) and Clara.
I am excitable, small, kind, helpful, quiet, funny, I wonder about things and ask a lot of questions and read books, and go on google (but I have to with Mummy or Andy) because I like finding things out. I care about my family, and friends, animals and people. I think I am lucky to have games and friends and people to play with.
I have a website because people from all around the world can see what I do, and that when I’m older I can see what I did when I was little.
