This book was simply ‘ok’. When there were any exciting or gripping parts, it was all over within a page or two. And then it was pages and pages of boring tedium. But I COULD tell that it was written very well and it had a very good plot behind it – it was just very boring.
Jim Hawkins lives with his mother and father at their inn the ‘Admirable Benbow’. But one day, a suspicious seaman arrives at the inn, secretly bearing an ancient treasure map. Jim, Dr Livesey and Squire Trelawney set off with a few other new crew members to find the island depicted on the chart and the treasure marked on it. But can they trust the new crew…?
