Ruby Redfort, thirteen-year-old secret agent, has returned! This time, in the last book, Blink and You Die, she tries to find out how all the stories in the previous books slot together: for instance, the oh so terrible baddies Victor von Leydon, otherwise known as the Count, Lorelei von Leyden, Marnie Novak, otherwise known as the Australian, Brenda Ulla Zane, otherwise known as Buzz, or even more commonly known as Casey Morgan, and many more. I think an alternative title could have been ‘Who’s Lying?’ because towards the end Ruby is faced with a decision: is Art Hitchen Zachery (more commonly known as Hitch), her all-time friend and ‘house manager’, evil baddie Casey Morgan, or is Buzz, the ‘poisonous toadstool’ from Spectrum, evil baddie Casey Morgan?
This book was so utterly BRILLIANT I would read it AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN! Unfortunately that was the last one in the series, but I’m going to waste no time in reading THE WHOLE SERIES again if that is necessary.
