Starring: Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson

I’ve already watched this film once before, but I decided to watch it again this year because I remembered it being really good. It didn’t fail my expectations, but I did notice a bit more of the cheesiness this time around. It tells the story of a young boy called Auggie who has a facial deformity, how he gets bullied at school for it and befriends another classmate.

Although I better recognised the corniness of this film this time around, it still made me cry at the end. It’s sad, it’s heartwarming, and it really makes us fall in love with little Auggie and his family. Though my rating in 2017 would have been 4 or maybe even 5 stars out of 5, I think I’d give it a 3.5 this year.
