Here are the photos of my Egypt project (you can see my sister's here). We worked on this on and off since before Christmas 2012, and we finished it with a presentation.
As well as making our lapbooks and posters, we watched lots of videos, and listened to an audiobook series about how the first cities developed and how Egypt changed over time. We went to the British museum to see the mummies and statues, and watched a show about The Egyptian Afterlife in their big lecture theatre. And we made Egyptian ankhs and scarab beetles and jewellery!
