Today me and my brother William made paper chinese lanterns with Andy. They're really cool!
Here's how to make them:
Firstly, get any colour card you want and draw a pattern on it. (Tip: I would suggest doing some sideways. It'll make your picture and your lantern much, much better.
Now that you've done your pattern, fold your paper in half width ways.
Cut your paper into strips, but leave an inch (about) on your paper on each strip till you get to the end.
Now, unfold your paper, and wrap it round length ways and sellotape it together to make a lantern shape.
Lastly, stick your handle on, and put a fake candle inside.
You're done! Well done!
