Today we went to Wrest park and played and played. There was a bridge and it was actually quite low to jump off (I'm still ashamed of myself now). This is because I sat on the edge of it for about half an hour and I really wanted to do it but I couldn't do it…
Anyway, we still had lots of fun playing. I had 50p to spend in the gift shop but I couldn't afford anything – it was so expensive. There was a feather pen I really wanted but it cost £1.25. There was an otter toy with facts on its label for £6.99 and a postcard of a pavillion for £2.50.
We played football with a boy called Kyle, and he was seven, the same age as me, and he looked four when I first saw him, he was so small! But, he was SO good at football, a little rude, but not too bad. He called me and William (because we were the other team) a 'dopey doughnut' or a 'fail' and sometimes a 'pump up the loser' which everyone but him didn't approve of; especially ME! And when Andy kicked the ball it went higher than your house, and Kyle had said before that, "No one's as good as my dad," and when Andy came I said, "oh right!" And Kyle was quite surprised when Andy kicked it as high as 92 really really tall bookshelves;)
Anyway, we PLAYED and we PLAYED and Matilda jumped off the highest point of the wooden tower! Cool, eh?
