Alton Towers!!!!

cheekyAlton Towers was so much f-u-n-!cheeky

To get there, it took TWO WHOLE HOURS to get there – but it was worth it – even if we had to get up at 6:15. We left at 7:10, and arrived just after 9 o'clock. At least we had a blanket, cushties (cushties are neck pillows) and normal pillows, mummy's phone to choose what music we'd like (we had 'Pump up the jam' at least 10 times) and a bottle of water – so I should think we survived. Oh yes, and there was a lorry and a grey car that almost crashed into us, and I said: "Did we die?" and Tilly said: "I don't think so." And I said: "At least we're still alive…"And Tilly said: "Actually – I think we're dead – but I am not so sure…" Tee hee! Now – ha ha – I've got the laugh-a-lots…!

First, we went on a skydrive train, called a monarail. It went quite slow, slow enough for us to see the rides. We saw one called Sonic Spinball, and we went on it as soon as we got off the skydrive train. But, like you'd guess:

Yes! We're there! Finally, the ride opened at 10 o'clock. But when we got on, we realised that it was worth it! But, oh, it went fast. We went up three times the size of a small mansion, and then… :-O …we went down..but not straight, oh no..SWERVEY! Boom, bump, bumpity boom bump! "Oweeee!" we cried, and we put our hands straight up in the air, and Tilly went on with her friend Emily and I went on with Mummy. Then it did that at least 10 more times. But then, we had to go on Smiler, but I wasn't tall enough, Tilly was but she chose not to go on it, so it ended up with Mummy going on it by herself. But it had the most horrible mind-twisting music and it had pictures of people being hypnotised and corrected. When it was half way, it said, "you are half way corrected!"

THIRTEEN, THE UNLUCKY  NUMBER! Unfortunately I was born on Friday the thirteenth…For people who think these things are unlucky…

When we got to Thirteen, the rolla coaster, I looked at its track and said I wasn't scared. At first I wasn't, but at the last moment I was. It was like Sonic Spinball at first, but then it came to the dark cave of I'm Going To Die. I got a bit terrified, because it suddenly made a horrible, most frightening noise and the rolla coaster SHOT  down, straight, and it went sdrawkcab in the dark, and it went zooming off to the end.."AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!" was my final thing to say. And when it stopped I said, "Can I go on again, please?" So we did. Yahoo!

I had to stand and wait while Mummy and Matilda went on the rides that I was too small for, but luckily I got my favourite sweeties to munch on. Yahyah! We went on the Blade (a pirate ship) and we went on the back because the back was faster, and we all put our arms up, but all the teenagers and grown-ups (apart from my mummy) clutched onto the bars and screamed and screamed and they weren't even at the back, they were in the middle, and they still cried and screamed and said help at least a hundred times per go!

We had lunch and Matilda decided she was going to go on a SCARY, RIGHT ride, called Oblivion, and it goes up a hill higher than the one at Sonic Spinball and then it hangs you there for ten seconds and you can't get off and then you cannot see the track for it is going down a black hole underneath the ground and speedy spoo! you're back out again. But first: Queue. Queue. Queue. Queue till I'm dead. Queue. Queue. Queue. Queue till I explode. While we were in the big queue, Mummy was hoping Tilly would change her mind, but nope, and this is because Mummy was too scared herself to go on it! All the time I saw Tilly's purple fleece going down downity down down plop through the hole! I was really proud of Tilly Willy. I wish I could go on it… 🙁

We went on the runaway mine train and the haunted house that had a massive branch tied with chains in it, and we went on driving school which Tilly was too tall for, and the mushroomy swing ride and the frog hopper ride, and the sky ride, and the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride and the lazer zombie and we went on Sonic Spinball and Thirteen the most – at least ten times each!!!!

I LOVE Alton Towers, and I really want to go again. But that's not it – read my next post! 😛  😀 The best one there is the wonderful dog chair!
