It’s a new year, and like every year, I resolve to eat more healthily, and then I don’t. But in 2022, I think I might actually do this all year round! I’ve written out a huge fitness tracker in my bullet journal, and have installed a load of fitness apps and picked the best workouts from them (which basically means the free ones!). Over the last couple of days I’ve tried to completely cut out my sugar intake. Tilly and my mum are going to try this too.
The plan is to try and make all our food ourselves, so that we know exactly what’s in everything we eat. I want to try and cut down on carbs, eliminate added sugars, drink more water (and green tea! 🍵) and exercise more. Hopefully this means that Tilly, my mum and I can spend more time in the kitchen together, cooking up new delicious concoctions. Today (5th January), I’m having a tuna, homemade houmous, crudites-y salad concoction for lunch, while Tilly and my mum have homemade parsnip soup. (I don’t like parsnip soup much as it’s so spicy!)
Hopefully after a few weeks of doing this, I’ll feel more energised and focused and just be fitter in general. Wish me luck!
