An Autumn Beginning

As you all know, I’ve been doing knitting (see the post before this one that I made this morning – a lot of website posts!) and now that it’s coming to Autumn and Winter I’m going to make scarves and woolly hats and things. I’m really excited and looking forward to making jumpers and all that posh stuff and I’ll be a real Knit and Knatter Young Lady!

Today I had an eye test. There was a very nice and clear lady there who did it. I put some funny goggly things on and read the weird letters on the screen. There were rows of them, getting smaller and running down the screen. We had to read them out to the lady. “K, J, O, L, V, O, O, L, I, M.” Like that. That wasn’t actually one of the sentences on the screen, but yes, it was like that. We had to look at a sticker on the wall and the lady would shine a torch in your eye (it kind of hurt) and you could see the back of your eye! It was kind of creepy. I thought it was my brain! :/ The lady said, “Your eyes are fine, totally fine! You don’t need glasses – not even for a very few amount of certain things – you can hurry along from this place thinking, ‘Ah, my eyes, so good. And no glasses!'” I was very pleased about this, because I was scared that they might have to replace my eyes or something!! :/

Also I made a little cake with Mummy. It had been on the shelf a long time, and all that kneeding it wasn’t too nice in the end!

I also went to Wrest Park with Caitlin. We went to the gift shop, played in the park a bit, and had a LOT of fun.

Also, I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately, like my Rabbit Magic story I’m going to post on here, and my Poem Book I bought. I can’t post that, because it’s 3d like, but I could try and take a photo of it and then post it…but yes, I’ve been a Writing Girl a lot through the week though…;)
