Today we (I mean me, Tilly and Andy and Mummy) went to a carnival. They had lots of fun and games there, but first we all dressed up as minions (it was a minion one). We were meant to wear dungarees and a yellow tie-dye top and some black gloves, so we did, but we were also meant to wear a minion mask, which unfortunately made you always look really silly. So me and Tilly had minion face-paint done, yellow faces and blue goggles with white, strange-looking eyes. I had to wear a mask on my head though, but still it wasn’t on my actual face.
We had to have that for the parade thing at the beginning, anyway. We walked along from some-where-or-another to a park we know, about an hour we walked, but I’m not sure how many miles we covered, as we kept stopping and starting and being really slow. Apart from that and the fact I didn’t get to hold a giant inflatable banana, it was quite good.
When we got to the fair, me and Tilly badly wanted to go on everything, but unfortunately for us, it was too expensive. At least we got to have a go at Planet Rock, it was brilliant. Tilly hated every single bit of it though, and when she chopped her tooth she seemed absolutely horrified, and so felt like she could break the ride and probably kill herself. But, apart from banging heads with the stranger next to me and swinging around the gap by the side of skinny legs, I had fun. Great fun. The swinging carriage, the clicking of machinery as it flung it round and round the air.
There was also a theme park-like ride that span you around in carts, called Waltzers. We went on with a nice little girl.
There too was chips, and a great tree-climbing wall, but we’re only allowed chips for dinner as they’d get soggy in the rain.
