February Nature Walk at the Forest Centre

As you may know if you have read one of my previous posts, we’ve been going on some nature walks. The last one we had in the Forest Centre, and I think it was the best one so far.

We saw a bunny rabbit (or at least, we saw its bottom sticking out of the hole) through Andy’s one-eye binocular. I also spotted a robin that came right up close to us on a deck chair, and we looked at him through the binocular as well. Mummy went off to go and see a dragonfly or something and sadly she startled him and he flew away; but we saw lots of other wildlife to make up!

We brought with us some spotting sheets which we used to spot tracks, droppings, and different types of branches, twigs and tree barks. I spotted quite a few and am excited about going there again for a nature walk to see if I can find the rest!
