Fran’s House

Today we all went to a lady called Fran’s house. She has a daughter named Lillian and a son named Nathan. Nathan played with Tilly while  me and Lillian disappeared upstairs writing stories. Lillian in one of those friends who love exactly what you love – writing stories and practically doing any English.

I brought one of my unfinished stories to Fran’s house to see if Lillian wanted to help me finish it off, but we kept distracting each other and eventually we decided to make a new story. We called it The Lonkey. It’s about a tall sixteen-year-old girl named Lily who turns into a donkey. Easy enough, I know, but writing it was certainly not easy. We thought of a description for Lily – a bright, redhead (not ginger, red) with freckles and intelligent green eyes. We weren’t sure how, but as our story grew longer we realised that Lily was getting hairier at the minute – a bit too hairy.

Fran made us a delicious dinner of dips, lamb meatballs, pitta bread, hotdogs and all sorts. Even though we were meant to be having a barbecue outside, this was absolutely delicous. For pudding, she served us waffle berry delight, with white chocolate, waffles and tasty berries.

We never got to finish our story, but what we did get was our own notepad just for me and Lillian to write our stories in!
