Do you know how cold it was today? Well, it wasn't hot, warm, cold or even freezing. I'll tell you how I managed that:
I had on: tights, trousers, thick wooly socks, a vest, a poloneck and a cardigan, then a fleese and finally a coat! As well, I had a hat and gloves.
We made a den. Not any old den. A special one. First, we decided what our names would be. I was pearl, Maryam was dimond, Hannah was emerald and Matilda was sapphire. We took 4 trees in mind and started filling around them with oak, hazel, hornbean and other types of leaves. They were meaning to be seats. Then, we distroyed it by making it into a big long bench along two trees. Then we distroyed it by plonking it all in the middle. "Pearl! Emerald!"
Also, everyone wrote their names on a piece of paper and folded it in half and then put it in a brown hat. Everyone took a piece of paper, unfolded it and would need to talk to that person. I got Maryam, Tilly got Sam, Thomas got Hannah, Hannah got James, Maryam got Alex (a very annoying boy who never listens so she was very unlucky!).
Now we're going to watch a film with hot chocolate and a nutella blondie 😉
