Beavers
I went to Beavers a few days ago, and they were bringing pets in, my favourite! While waiting for Harry's guinea pig to arrive, we played an animal game. (Sorry, I can't remember what we did….).
Then, it was fun time. Harry's guinea pig came in! He was really cute, and had stripes of brown and caramel. It was soo cute! I stroked and stroked him, never letting go of his stripy, soft fur, running it through my fingers every now and again.
Then came Kipper, the Beaver leader's Terrior dog. He was cute too, but he made the Beavers (including me) feel like they weren't there, and if they were there, then Kipper wasn't intrested in them, or hadn't noticed them.He kept running towards his owners and ignoring me and the other Beavers.
It's raining, it's boring, the old man's snoring, he went to bed, bumped his head, and couldn't get up in the morning.
I had a rainy week this time, so we mainly stayed in, apart from this:
The Mortgage Centre 'Proof that we're always good'
We went to the Mortgage Centre, with Mummy, Tilly, me and my Nanny (She's the one who wants the mortgage). One of the ladies there saw us crouching on the sofa for an hour, and said, "how old are you?" And I said, "seven and ten." And she gaped and said, eying us up and down, "Surely..you have arguments?" And we replied no, and she said, "Would you kindly come to my house and teach my children not to squabble? Rude to ask, I know, but you're well behaved?" And I said yes, and Tilly said, "Ha, ha! Do you really think so?!" And she pushed me jokingly, and we laughed and laughed.
I wrote a letter to Holly Webb, about a book called 'Maisy Hitchens The Phantom Cat'. It took a lloonngg time, and it was very fun.
We did some Hungarian maths, and I should have been on year 2 but I'm in year 3! At my school they'd be in year 1! Almost reception! It's actually quite fun, and I like the fact that some of it is tricky and some is in the middle and some is eeaassyy!!
