Gerbils as pets
Gerbils are mostly now found in pet shops, if your’re wanting them as pets. You are not aloud to bring gerbils into Calfornia or Australia, because it can spoil ecosystems and farming.
Houseing in captivity
Lots of people try to give gerbils hamster cages, but gerbils don’t need plastic stuff because if they nibble it, they get quite sick, and they want to dig their own tunnels, because in the desert, it is their naturel habitat.
Health concems
Tyzzer’s disease
The Tyzzer’s diesease is the most commen desease.
Sometimes it kills the gerbils.
Neglect
Is not looking after your pets correctly, dehydration, starvation, stomach ulcers, eating of bedding material, and cannibalism.
