We went to the real Courts of Justice!! We went there to do a mock trial and I was Mrs Rice, a witness. Tilly (she's my sister) was Mrs Smith. William, Elise, Taryn and Katie couldn't come though. I had to stand in the doc while other people asked me questions. I had a script in front of me that I had to practice holding it down and not looking at it the whole time I was talking It was really scary and I got this really BULGY feeling…Oaahh……….But we did really well and I had to act it out and speak clearly. My favourite part was when I said he was a wretch ! 🙂

It was the case of John Henry Wainman steeling 4/- (Shillings) and selling a suit for 8/- that was very expensive and his own mother bought it from him! He was guilty, and he was BIRCHED. Isabella was sent to REFORM SCHOOL – buem buem buuueemmmm!! She was to pick the tiny rope strings off a rope and make a bag with them, 4 MONTHS when she could be there for FIVE YEARS!!

Tilly really wanted to be Isabella Meagin who was caught steeling a table cloth, two pairs of breeches, three waist coats, two coats, and….A load of other stuff!

Then for the:….

Court Tour

We had a Court tour but Mummy felt a little sick half way through. She kept hoping it would be over and really wanted to go 🙁

The man who built the building had spent sooooo much money he hardly had any left so, there were two balconies. He could of built them into a beautiful bridge that we could walk across. In fact, it still looked as if it was a beautiful cathidral! (Ha, ha)!

And I wrote a story about it…

Bye for now,

xx:)xx
