Yesterday we had a Halloween party at our usual club. I dressed up as a witch, and so did Tilly, with a purple and blue robe, but now I have recieved a wonderful golden dress Katie gave me with black nets and that sort of thing over it. I think it is very pretty; Tilly has a blue one, but it has a different design and has mainly velvet instead of net and satin like mine. At the party, I had a face painted pattern up the side of my face, and Tilly had a white face and black smudges around her eyes to make her look like a corpse. I think my friend Niamh looked the best, though. She dressed as a fallen angel, and she looked really pretty at the same time as scary. She had a black halo and a black dress with net and velvet. I was very envious!
Niamh and Tilly got a prize for the best dress; Tilly came second and Niamh first. Tilly got lots of chocolate, and Niamh got a Tinkerbell bath toy with a removal shower puff as a pretty green skirt. I got Niamh a dress up fashion thingymabob for her birthday; she loved it so much she immediately started playing it with me! You have six different bits of fabric and two ribbons and some sequins and things, plus a pink model to put the fabric on. We made a pretty dress with the black and pink-purple fabrics, and then we had purple and white sequins on the top we made.
They had two bouncy castles up: one for the babies and one for people..hmm..I think over four. This one was called ‘Disco Dome’. Inside it was pitch black with small, squinty disco lights and everyone kept falling over each other. It was funny.
“Niamh!” I screamed as I toppled over about three little ones at once. Niamh came hopping over, squinting in the darkness so as not to trip on everyone crowding around us. She helped me up and soon enough we had both agreed we’d better take Sienna (Niamh’s three-year-old-absolutely-adorable sister) into the younger bouncy castle instead of us two carrying on in the Disco Dome. So we went off, found her and ran into the little castle.
“Again!” Sienna would scream as she catapulted herself down the slide and into the ball pit. Then we hurried out of the castle, ate some biscuits and sandwiches, and toppled into the Disco Dome again. Sienna ran off to play with Tilly when we once again agreed that the Disco Dome wasn’t the best place to be straight after laughing our heads off at the topples we fell into. But after that, we quickly settled down and ran outside and…guess where?
HOME 🙁
Bye bye!
