January and February Summary

I know that recently I have been neglecting my website a bit, and I intend to “remedy this situation” (Mummy’s words). From now on I am going to try and write something every few days, so make sure you’ve got your eyes open for a post overload! Here is a quick list of what I’ve been doing since 2019 began:

  1. We went ice-skating with our friends Myrren and Jasper. Then we went back with them to their house where we had sushi for lunch and had a ‘talent show’ in the afternoon! It was really fun.
  2. We’re going to get a new car! It’s a black car with loads of room in the back. It’s even got a ‘start/stop’ button to turn on the engine so you don’t have to turn the keys in the ignition!
  3. I’ve been really enjoying a Biology IGCSE course I have been doing. Recently I’ve been learning about viruses, bacteria and protoctists. Did you know that there are more bacteria in your mouth than people in the world? I thought that was really interesting!
  4. I’ve been doing lots of cooking too.
  5. We’ve been doing history a lot, too. At the moment we’re doing all about the Industrial Revolution in the UK.
  6. I’ve started indoor rock-climbing lessons at our local leisure centre, which I really enjoy! We think I may have vertigo though so that might be a problem! On the first week I didn’t go to omnia (really hard-core circuit training which we do three times a week at the gym) because I thought I might throw up all over the course! Recently though, I’ve just been feeling a bit shaky, but it’s definitely going away. Phew! I actually completed Level 1 last week so now I’m on Level 2! Yay!
  7. It was a really hot February this year – the hottest February since long before I was born!
  8. We still do home-ed swimming lessons every Monday, followed straight after by an omnia session! We also do normal swimming with our friends on other days when we can.
  9. We’ve been watching lots of the Great British Bake-Off and Poldark! I also watched a lot of The Hobbit this week (Parts 1, 2 and 3!).
  10. I’ve set myself a reading challenge for 2019, which is to read 52 books (that’s one a week). At the moment, I’m two books ahead of schedule! Make sure you’re looking at my reviews tab to catch up with all the books I’m reading! 😉
