First, before I tell you about Cooking School, there’s this thing that Joseph and Daniel said there:
D: “William?”
W: “Yes, Dan?”
D and J: “Do you know what School stands for?”
W: “No.”
J: “Six Cruel Hours Of Our Life!”
W: “Cool. That’s funny.”
To people who go to school and like it there: No affence.
Anyway. Today was our last day. “I can’t believe it,” said Matilda, eyeing up the chilli flakes. “Last day,” said William, panting. “Waaa!” said Annie, spying on the corriander weirdly. “Oiwe,” I said. Caitlin laughed. “Well I’m the new girl,” she sighed. “It is worse for me. I only get one day, you get…how many, Annie?”
We made Chicken Curry today. It was yummy. We had onion, tomatoes, chilli flakes, green beans, chicken, rice, egg, corriander, water, glory-stuff and some other thing.
All was very nice at the end. We flipped and turned, span and ran, washed and scrubbed, poured and spilled, whatever you do when you’re hard work cooking.
At the end we had to make pudding. It was like a huge eaten mess. YUMMY SCRUMMY, GOOD FOR MY TUMMY! We all put smashed up blueberries, yoghat, oats, smashed raspberries, smashed strawberries, smashed and non-smashed everything! HORRIBLE, IT WAS DELICIOUS, IT WAS.
***UPDATE***
When we came home, Sally had given us some Top Noodles in a pot. It also came with veg. We stirred it up, making sure the noodles weren’t dry anymore and fully mixed in.
When we’d finished, Mummy poured the remaining water down the sink. I went outside to see if it was all brown like in the pot, but it wasn’t that fasinating. 🙁
My favourite thing there that we cooked together out of puddings was probably the fruit we wrapped up – you know, the pudding we made on Day 1. My favourite out of lunches was probably…the Tomato Pasta. But all was well and all was nice! Mummy tried a bit of the pitta bread from Day 2 and a bit of the yummy oaty and sqaushed fruit stuff, but she only liked the pitta bread.
