You know how much I love reading? Yeah? Well, I’ve read loads this week. I read a book called ‘Dear Hound’ and another after that’s called ‘You’re a bad man, Mr. Gum!’ and now I’m on ‘The Water Horse’. Have you read any of them? Have you watched ‘The Water Horse’ movie? It’s really good. Do you know any Mr. Gum films or movies? I don’t. What about Dear Hound films or series or whatever? How about…ooh, that gave me an idea! Let’s talk about movies and films and series.
Have you ever seen ‘Mighty Joe Young’? I have. It’s a very good film about a gorilla who, – well, I can’t really remember because I was five then, two years younger than now – well, I think that he escaped from a zoo or something and a lady and a man found him and he grew up very big. They kept him a cage in their garden (I know that sounds kinda weird, but I am ‘trying to remember’) and then he got lost. They found him in a fair-ground and night, and a big fire approached. A little boy was accidentalll left in a carrage right at the top, and Joe (the gorilla) heard him and climbed up, grabbed him and climbed back down…but, half way through, the ride fell down with a crash! 🙁 Bmm, bmmm, bmmmmmm!!! 🙁 With an unhappy ending, because everyone thinks he’s dead, but then he opens his eyes and the little boy gave him $10, so a happy and unhappy ending!
Ooh, what about Witch Mountain? That’s a good one too. It’s about a couple of children called Tia and Tony who are magic and who get to go on a trip to…I can’t remember! But it’s amazing and you’ve got to watch it!
