Today, we weren’t sure what we should do. We could, of course, stay in and do some work, but that wouldn’t be very exciting. So maybe we could go to the park or something? Well, it was looking a but cloudy and miserable. In the end, we decided to ask Nanny if we could stay round at hers for a sleepover! She said yes, so we quickly did some Latin and then packed some things. When we set off to Nanny’s, we were bubbling! Of course, we needed to do some work, because we hadn’t done any for ages, so we brought some maths and our laptops to do some Spanish, Latin, and the other kind of work we do. We’ve brought teddies and things and we’re going to sleep in Nanny’s double-bed guest bedroom, with a big duvet and comfy matresses and pillows!
Later on, about forty-five minutes after Mummy left, we went out shopping and got some hair bobbles and shoes and the rare Pick-and-Mix! We filled out regular cup all the way to the brim so that the lid wouldn’t come on and the sweets kept spilling into the bag they were in! When we came home, we went in the bath and came down to a tasty pasta dinner, and watched telly with a yoghurt and some smoothie.
I’m excited about tomorrow – we’ve got delicious chocolate oozy things for breakfast – and we might be allowed to stay for two nights!
In the morning, once we had shared the double bed, and had a bath together, we came down for chocolate oozy things! We went down to Bedford again, and Nanny bought Tilly a Mr Whippy and me a tasty Solero! When we came home, we watched Britain’s Got Talent for a hour and ten minutes (timing’s perfect when it comes to TV). One of my favourite acts was when an old 84-year-old man came on and sung for literally fifty minutes about how he liked the driver of the number 19 bus, and tortured Simon for all of it!
We stayed another night because we were so good, and we did some work (quite a bit of Latin, a small amount of Spanish, etc.), which was fun. I can’t wait to go again!
