The Arctic
Sarah’s Grandfather lived in the Arctic. Today she was visiting him, and it was a wonderful time to because it was 4 days before Christmas and it was soo lovely outside with the snowy trees. Sarah was delighted to see him. When the car was parked, Sarah could see her Grandfather waving at her out of his window with his adorable cat, Sapphire. She had bright blue eyes and she was a sesimise cat and had beautiful black and white patches on her. 5 minutes later, there Sarah was, playing with pretty Sapphire, and there Sapphire was, twitching her whiskers every now and again. She looked up at Sarah, making a I-want-food stare. “Do you now, Sapphire, but..” Sarah looked at her watch. “It’s 12 past eleven isn’t it? You can’t have lunch yet.” Sapphire looked solemnly at Sarah. But Sarah said nothing. She knew that Sapphire knew she couldn’t possibly have lunchyet. After lunch, Sarah peeped out the kitchen door window. She put her woolly fleese and hat on and stepped out into the open.
Polar time..
Sarah secretly shut the door behind her. An icy lake stood there before her and it was so beautiful Sarah nearly fainted. But what was that, far into the distance? Sarah fished her mini-mize teloscope out from deep in her pocket. Her arms were shaking, legs aching, but she took the teloscope out from her pocket. She looked through it thinking it could be something dangerous. There, standing before her, was a white blob; in the shape of a bear! It was coming closer. When the shape was about 3 feet away, slowly, carefully, she fell backwards, pretending to be dead. She closed her eyes, trembling. The bear reached her and nosed his way round her I’m-so-scared-face. The snow bear came over and whispered in her ear, “When you are alone, never be afraid, just listen, Sarah, listen. Your Grandfather, Michael, saw me when I was about 7 weeks old, and now you’ve seen me too. For when two in one family see one, they will never forget it. Your Grandfather named me Frosty, and I kept that name, never forgot it. Its your turn, Sarah, however you feel, whenever you want.” Eventully, Sarah opened her eyes and stared and stared at the bear. Grandfather? Frosty? 7 weeks? Heavens, just..What? “I see… My Grandfather,” Sarah said. She looked to the side, smiled happily, then cried, “It was you! Really!” Sarah could’ve sworn the bear winked at her in reply. Before she knew it, she found she was on the bear’s back!
What?
Ten minutes later, Sarah was asleep dreaming where she would end up when she awaked. In a tick, a sudden stop from the bear awaked poor Sarah. “Hey!..” Sarah exclaimed. There, in front of the icy bear’s paws, was a woolly mammoth. “Aaaaah! Wow! Don’t worry you can beat him up, Frosty. You really can!” “Grrr!” “Howl! Grip it off!” Bong! Bing! Bang! 1, 2, 3. The huge bear strolled it’s huge paws a step of three on three paws. Yelping like a wolf, the mammoth stepped backwards. Thump! It moved it’s great woolly feet back on all 4. It was so heavy a gust of wind flew out from beneath him. “Aaaaaaaaaahhh! Whooooo!” It blew Sarah off the bear, and buried her into the snow….. She couldn’t breathe, for she was under an icy platform. Luckily, the bear notised soon after. He tried all he could to smash the platform of ice. A seal hole was in there. It had a red ring around the hole. That meant.. A man-eating seal! It couldn’t be! It eventully cracked, but Sarah wasn’t there!
