Swimming and a Disco

Today we went swimming, just after lunch. Katie, Matilda, my friend Liv-Astrid (pronounced Liv-Ustri), her three brothers, her mum and I were there. Me and Liv-Astrid went off together to swim laps and lanes, practicing, up to a certain flag and then back to the wall. Evantually we got further and further to the end of the pool, but we never quite managed to get straight to the end and back. We got about three quarters the way and back, so still.

While me and Liv-Astrid were swimming lanes and laps, Matilda, Katie and Liv-Astrid’s two brothers (one of them is a teeny baby) were playing a ‘Junior & Agent’ game, but me and Liv-Asrid weren’t too bothered, and, to be honest, found it quite silly.

[Take picture of a drawing I may draw of me and Liv-Astrid swimming laps and lanes]

Then, as William was at school, Mummy had gone to collect him, so when he came, he went straight to play and make friends with Liv-Astrid’s second youngest brother, while me and Liv-Astrid swam more lanes and made another friend.

Believe it or not, our usual club had a disco at half past five, where my friend Niamh (pronounced Neeve) was there, and everyone who came swimming with us was also there, so I played with them. A new girl Lilian and her brother Nathan were there too, so we hung out with them as well. We all got into our party dresses (I loved Liv-Astrid’s and Niamh’s) and started requesting things and dancing. I requested ‘It’s Tricky’ by ‘Run DMC’, but the DJ didn’t have it.

We also played some games like Musical Statues and Musical Chairs, which were very fun. They didn’t put on It’s Tricky, but they did put on some Queen, William’s request. It was really, really fun and I wish they will give us another one (with It’s Tricky)!
