7-15 August 2017
Today was Monday. We all got up early in the morning, so I wrote some of my story and did some of the cup song we’re learning for our drama group. When Mummy came down we did some work with her, and after lunch we went to two nearby parks. One used to have a zipwire, so when it did we called it the Zipwire Park. When its zipwire got taken away we still called it the Zipwire Park, basically because we couldn’t think of any other name for it. Whereas, the other park we went to we call the SeaCadet Park, because it’s so near to the hut where the SeaCadets have their club. At both parks we played on the basket swing, until, in the SeaCadet Park, some bullying morons who should never have been born on the face of the Earth arrived, so we went home, followed by these eejits, until they eventually got bored and rode away on their bikes.
On Tuesday, we stayed in and ‘mooched’. We watched a film about Gabby Douglas, and did some of our work in our bullet journals. I wrote my story and then did some more work, we played about a bit more and so on.
On Wednesday this week, we went to our filmmaking. Usually it’s on a Thursday, but it was supposed to end last week, and we didn’t get enough done, so we had to stretch it and give it another week. This week we did the voicing. We had to do it Kenzie’s bedroom because there wasn’t any room downstairs! 😀 One of the boys was a bit disruptive and annoying, and Tilly and I were trying to help Sonja and Cam calm him down, but it went nicely. You have to expect this with boys 😉 We’re going to do a ‘premiere’ and a ‘show reveal’ of our group’s and the morning group’s films!
Today was Thursday. Usually we’d have filmmaking, but because we did that yesterday, we had a day out with our friends in Salcey Forest. We picked Tilsy up from volunteering at the library and then we went to the town where our friends Lucia, Dominque, Elodie, Rafey, and their baby sister live! 🙂 We only had one space in the car, and Didi had a friend round, Rafey and Dommy were at a club, and the baby was a baby, so we took Chia in the car with us. We went to the forest and met our friends Grace and Eve and Anne, and then our long-time-no-see friends Myrren and Jasper. We played in the park for a bit and then me and Chia and Gracie went off on a walk reciting poetry! XD I think Tilly would have come because Chia was coming but it was the poetry part that put her off! XD We had a delicious packed lunch and then Chia, Evie, Annie, Myrren, Gracie and I all did a little talent show in front of the mums. But we ‘shooed’ off the boys! XD
On Friday, we went to our drama group in the morning. We did dance at the beginning, singing in the middle, and drama at the very end. My favourite part was the dancing, because we got to do this AWESOME dance to the not-very-good-but-okay-song-Power-of-Love, which made up for its ‘not-very-good-but-ok’ part! 😀 Afterwards, we dropped Tils off with Nicola and went home. In the afternoon, Nanny came round! I read my ‘educational magazine’ (as I call it!) about Cleopatra while Tilly did Latin with Nanny and Mummy.
Today was Satuday. We went shopping in Luton with Nanny. We would have gone to a place less of a dump, but Mummy had to get some library books there anyway, so we went to Luton 😉 Also I had bought myself a toy for £12.50 with my pocket money that I had to collect – and I was VERY excited! It’s called ‘Speed Stacking’, and you have to stack cups in these towers really quickly and then break them all down again. I’m watching Speed Stacker world-record champion Emily Fox’s tutorials and learning how to do it with my special Stack mat! It’s REALLY fun!
