This is the week that we went to Liverpool and then Blackpool for a holiday with our friends.
We got back quite late on Friday, but we were up bright and early the next morning, and packed our bags and went to Nanny’s for the weekend! We got on the bus all by ourselves and when we got to Nanny’s stop we stayed on and Nanny got on, and we went to the shops with her. We shopped for a bit, Nanny got us a delicious lunch of wraps and posh crisps, and then we bought some sweeties and went back to her house. For our drama group we’ve got a solo each – Tilly’s doing Fernando, and I’m doing The Winner Takes It All – so we made the dance routines for them while we were upstairs.
For dinner we had a cheesy pizza, and then we watched telly for a bit before retreating to bed. Nanny said we were allowed to stay for two nights! So the next day we finished off our dance routines and did some of our drawing. Then Nanny made us pasta with cheese and butter, which sounds weird but it’s actually super nice! For breakfast on both mornings Nanny showed us how to make toast with her toast-burning, toast-spurting toaster, so we were allowed to make neverending toast and Scottish strawberry jam!
