What I’ve been doing since The Court Trial of Stealing Cheese

Sorry I haven't posted on my website since…..ages…..

This is what I've been doing since someone stealing MY cheese!

(Don't think this is in order..because it isn't…).

We went to the Forest Centre on Thursday, and it was really fun. We got all squelchy and barky and muddy, but my friend Katie didn't. (Somehow).

We played like a mum and…well…there wasn't a dad…game. It was so fun and mind-blowing. We played MILLIONS of fun games, so many I couldn't remember them to tell you! There was a basket swing and under it were splashy puddles of mud and soapy water. EEEEEWWWW! There were hard, wooden, logs that we climbed and walked and slithered along on.

And that was the end of that…

We had a little day of playing and librarieing too.

And that was the end of that…

We went up to our Nanny's house, and I told her that I wanted to go out, and she said, "OK. How many parks do you want to go to?" And I said, "two." And Tilly said, "The zipwire one, the one near the school we used to go to..and, oh, it would be delightful to go to three! And the one near the library. Deal?" And Nanny took us – or at least to two before it was 6 o'clock, and one minute it was daylight with lovely blue sky, the next it was dull and dim, and Nanny said, "We'd better stop now, no, Lavinia, we can't go to the zipwire at 6 o'clock! Are you crazy?"

And that was the end of that…

Picnic time. Ah..It was soo sunny and warm on Sunday, we didn't even need a coat or cardigan! So, we brought Nanny too. Ah, that was the life! We met our old friend, Mia, and she gave us a foot up to something rreeaallyy high and lifted me back down again. Kind of her, wasn't it?

We had cake, lemon water, salad, fruit salad (pineapple, strawberries and grapes), bread and cheese, crisps and chocolate biscuits and a cosy blanket to lie on. That was the real life! Ahh…

And that was the end of that…

We did some work on our Arctic and Antarctic projects and I did all I could find about Arctic wolves and Arctic foxes and musk oxes and elks and reindeer. I'm going to do ALL of the Arctic animals that I like!

And that was the end of that…

I made a chocolate and orange tray bake with mummy and without Tilly. (Hah, ha ha!) We squeezed orange juice in and grated the zest of it into the chocolatey goodness, and it took a deliciously long time to squeeze the orange juice into the icing because it was an non-juicey orange.

And that was the end of that…

At Brownies last week it was Games Night. Yahoo! We played 'squash 'em brownies', and I got squashed A LOT, I'm telling of that Naomi who squashed me at least ten times!

And that was the end of that…

At Beavers we went to 'Pets at Home', a lovely, cute petshop. We saw guineas pigs, rabbits, bearded dragons, snakes and fish.

I looked at the guineas pigs first. Guess what!!!! I saw a baby guineas pig that still had it's cord attached to it's mummy! IT IS TRUE! BELIEVE ME! I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES!! It was a little pinky white thing, a long tube which paused at it's mummy's long, furry fur to go into the deep fur to get to her belly button! It is TRUE!

Then we went to the reptiles..A young leader led us round the massive room to a door which said REPTILES on it. We went in and I felt a bearded dragon (a Iguana-ish looking thing) a small snake (a baby one).

And that was the end of that…

Guess what I've been doing ALL week? READING! I've been reading in bed, reading under the duvet downstairs on the sofa. Tilly's been reading Nanny McPhee to me as well, and I like it a bit more than Enid Blyton and a bit less than Roald Dahl so I wrote MY OWN story of it, and it'll be on my website in about 1 week!

And that was the end of that…

I've started on my hungarian maths year 3 and it is so easy! Yahoo! It was mainly doingsome times tables and doing the formulars of things! And I have been doing fractions in my maths book.

And that was the end of that…by that I mean the whole thing…
