We went to Woburn Safari Park! This time it was extra fun because Andy came too! First we drove round the Drive Through Safari. Luckily our car was a hard-roofed car, or we wouldn’t have been able to see the bears, lions, tigers, wolves or monkeys!
And guess what?! A monkey actually came on our windscreen this time! He was rubbing his bum on the window and making funny faces at us! (It was quite funny though because Andy was terrified that the monkey was going to break our wind-screen wipers. He doesn’t understand these things.)
Afterwards we went through the walky bit, where we saw the lemurs, penguins, sea lions, kangaroos, elephants, and all the birds of paradise! They were really cute, but especially the sea lions, because when we traced our finger along the glass window, they would follow our fingers as though it were a game! And they looked like they were having fun too!
After that, we went on the interactive parts, like the Bob Cat sled run, the pedal boats, the drop slide play area, and the train ride. The Bob Cat run was where you got into a straw sack and slid down the slide, which was really tall and bumpy and fast so you could have races on it! The pedal boats were shaped like swans, and Tilly went in with Mummy, and I went in with Andy (who was a bit scared we were going to fall in so he didn’t let me steer.) It was still really fun though (even though he stopped five thousand metres away from a duck ‘in case he ran it over’!) The drop slide play area was the best bit, because I went on both slides, even though one was partially vertical and both were extraordinarily high! The train ride took us round the area a bit more where you couldn’t drive through, where there were loads of wild deer and donkeys.
