This book was about a little girl called Polly and an evil man called Mr Gum. Polly finds a gingerbread man with loads and loads of money (it’s a bit strange) and teaches him what friendship is. Basically, the ‘Biscuit Billionaire’ thought friendship was giving people money, but it’s not, so he learnt in the end after his money had been stollen, because then there was no money to give.
It wasn’t just Mr Gum who stole the money – it was his friend (Billy William) too. Can Polly, the Biscuit Billionaire and Friday O’Leary (Polly’s friend) get the robbers and take the money back?
Do you think the Biscuit Billionaire learns that it’s worse with money? Will he eventually learn what friendship actually is?
I really liked this book because of all it’s jokes and things. Me and my mummy were laughing our heads off when it said ‘The Historic Statue of Some Old Bloke on a Horse’! 😀 It was brilliantic and even though I can’t remember what the first one was about, I assume it was better!
