The first book in this series was very good – the second was absolutely un-put-down-able. But this one was just so meh… it was completely boring, although the plot was good, and after a few chapters I completely gave in on Jim and Bill and Goldberg and Webster and even Sally and little Harriet. I’m hoping that the fourth and last in the series, “The Tin Princess”, is as good as the first or second and that I will be able to read it without having to know what happened here!
