Physics results are in! (And have been since February actually…)

In February, I got the results for my physics GCSE which I sat last November! I was certain I had written a post about this, but can’t find one anywhere for some reason. So here are my results…

I got an 8! I was so relieved, because, as you’ll know if you’ve been following my GCSE journey since last year, I felt like the first paper in particular had gone really badly. What’s more, I was only 4 marks off a 9! I didn’t want to remark because I felt like that’s just 1 or 2 marks too many to have a good chance of being remarked a 9, but I’m still happy with my 8.

However, just to prove to myself that I am capable of getting top marks, I am really desperately aiming for 9s in my biology and upcoming maths and English GCSEs. If I don’t get one in Latin I won’t be beating myself up too much about it, because I was up against the sort of people who take Latin GCSEs – namely, really intelligent private school kids. But I would really love to see 9s in my biology, English and maths results. Wish me luck!
