As the last week of January, I was feeling particularly motivated to get a lot done this past week! Every morning I did my Maths and Physics (apart from Wednesday─I remembered this time!), and in the afternoon moved on to “easier” subjects like History and English. After finishing my essay on Blake’s poem London on Monday, I started a new one on Wednesday on another of his poems, The Tyger. Watch out for it in the coming weeks!

On Monday, I did some work on indices in Maths, followed by revision on the Electricity topic of my IGCSE Physics. In the afternoon, I finished my London essay, which you can find as a post here, or on my Facebook page here. Then, according to my bullet journal notes, I made a delicious mug cake and watched “the liver-eating man” on the X-Files with my step-dad Andy 🙂

The next day, I did an LLL lesson with one of my five-year-old students, reading him stories over Zoom. (Not sure what LLL is? Read my post about it using this link!) Then my mum cut my hair! She only took about an inch off, but considering I haven’t had a haircut for about a year and a half, it was certainly something!

On Wednesday, I remembered that I don’t have to do Maths or Physics! I did a lot of Art History all morning and afternoon, and started my essay on The Tyger by William Blake. In the evening I watched “the return of the liver-eating man” with Andy!

On Thursday, I started lessons with a new teacher on my Maths Masterclass Outreach course (read my post about my Masterclasses here). He’s called Niall and he’s one of my new favourite teachers now! He studied Maths at Cambridge and took his A-Levels when he was in Year 10! He also has a dog named after a Pokemon and rock band posters on the wall behind him 👌

On Friday morning, I finished off my work on indices in Maths and revised parallel and series circuits in Physics. In the afternoon, I finished the Iliad! You can read my review/analysis here.

Over the weekend, I did a lot of lounging about and some posts on this blog. We watched a lot of the new series of Masterchef Professionals too!
