Monday
Today, I restarted my reading of Plato’s Republic. I picked up from where I left off at Book V, and found a great site called Course Hero which has summaries and videos (hosted by one extremely enthusiastic American professor) on the Republic. For lunch, we used some leftover chicken from Saturday’s roast dinner to make a delicious homemade Caesar salad!
Wednesday
Today, I read four cantos from Dante’s Inferno (so I’m now on Canto 7), and summarised them here. I also finished a portrait I’ve been doing of my grandma’s cousin’s son Francis.
In the evening, I gave myself a French manicure while watching Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk on YouTube! 😂
Thursday
This morning, I got straight to work on Dante’s Inferno, reading and summarising two more cantos. Then I did my violin practice and some exercising from the fitness apps I installed recently. Then I spent a while looking at sixth forms for next year and American universities for the years after that!!
Friday
I got the train today to go and see my friends Myrren and Jasper. We went to the cathedral in the town centre which was really pretty, and also went to an art gallery that I didn’t know existed. We got Pret for lunch and Wagamama for dinner! It was really fun.
