Monday
My piano teacher wasn’t feeling very well today so my lesson was postponed to later in the morning. That was all right because it gave me time to knuckle down on physics while my brain was in its best working order!
After my lesson it was lunchtime, followed by a swimming lesson. We spent most of it doing drills, which are basically where you take an aspect of a stroke and exaggerate it to focus on perfecting it; for example, to emphasise the importance of rotating correctly while doing front crawl, you have to lie on each side for however long while kicking but not using your arms, then rotate onto the other side. It’s surprisingly harder than it looks – as my instructor promised, my core is now killing me!
After swimming, I had a maths lesson with Damian. I would have liked to do some more physics as I’m falling slightly behind, but instead I did my instrument practice and watched some TV. 😬 Andy and I started a new programme called Fringe, which I thought was incredibly cheesy and Hollywood-y. However, it did have some good moments, and a lot of the comedic scenes are now in-jokes between Andy and I! We’re going to give the next episode a go and see if it improves.

I’ve been getting so behind on my website! I forgot this post existed. Suffice to say, the rest of the week was spent doing physics and absolutely nothing else! 😧
