Monday – Friday
February has got off to quite a good start; I’ve got loads of trackers and spreads planned out in my bujo ready for the new month. Next Monday I’ll find out which parts of the biology and Latin GCSEs I’ll need to learn for my exams in May-June (they took a couple of sections of the syllabus out because of disadvantaged school learning due to covid).
This week, I’ve basically been doing the same thing every day: reading and summarising Matt Ridley’s The Rational Optimist and Dante’s Inferno; exercising and going on walks with my mum; reading Infidel, Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s autobiography; doing my piano and violin practice and music theory; having piano and violin lessons, and doing my maths courses with Damian and Niall on Monday and Thursday evenings. I think having these courses is really helpful as maths isn’t my strong point, but Niall and Damian are great teachers and make the subject really interesting and (almost) fun!
Weekend
On Saturday, Nanny came round and my mum made a delicious roast dinner. I’ve started drawing a collage of all my favourite characters from Criminal Minds!
On Sunday, my mum and I went out for a much needed girls’ day out in Cambridge. We even treated to ourselves to tea and cake in Patisserie Valerie! We bought loads of clothes and books and had a lovely day. It rained as we were waiting for the bus home, but other than that it was quite a nice day.
Andy’s been at his friend’s house for a bit, so we’ve been having a girls’ week, watching TV and painting our nails and staying up late! 😅
